Summary
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) S.A.V.E. suicide prevention training program is designed to help recognize the warning signs of suicide and provide support and resources to individuals at risk of suicide.
VA S.A.V.E. Training will help you act effectively when you encounter a veteran in crisis or experiencing suicidal thoughts. The two sessions being offered are designed to complement one another, and participants will benefit from attending either session or both.
S.A.V.E. Training #1, Sep 18: Participants will be equipped with the practical skills of the VA's S.A.V.E. program. Training is FREE and open to active duty military, former military, veterans, and any adult interested in helping to prevent veteran suicide. Snacks will be provided.
