FOCUS Spring 2023

FREE for all participants.

This program meets Monday evenings from March 13th through April 10th (there is no session on April 3d).  We start at 5:30pm with a family meal and then participate in family and individual activities.

This is a four-week communication workshop for individuals, couples, kids and teens. Sessions combine active skills, problem solving, and team building activities for all ages. Participants enjoy a meal together and attend their own life strategy groups. Adults are able to choose between new experiences like yoga, dance, building challenges, partner card games and life skills training as well as attending a workshop on building stronger relationships through effective communication. Children explore their creativity and expression by engaging in multi-media art projects. Teens explore their core values through participating in creative activities including Live Action Role Play games, mindfulness training and multi-media art experiences.

The specific schedule and offerings for this workshop are:

Schedule: Dinner    5:30 - 6:00
                 Class 1   6:00 - 6:45
                 Class 2   6:50 - 7:35

Classes offered: 

Adults:
  Class 1: Communication workshop with Dr Dan or Co Parenting Effectively with Rebecca
  Class 2: Yoga, Table Game Fun or Self Defense/ Karate

Pre-k:   All Infants thru age 4 for both class times
Children 5-10:  The Art of our Voices for both class times
Teens 11-18:  The Art of our Voices and Understanding Ourselves and Others
