Fearless Family Friday Fun

Session #1 is on Friday, March 7th from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.  The theme for this sesion is - Our Incredible Family: What are our superpowers individually? What is our superpower as a family?

Session #2 is on Friday, April 11th from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.  The theme for this sesion is - Our Incredible Story. How did we get here?

Session #3 is on Friday, May 2nd from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.  The theme for this sesion is - Gratitude and Commitment. The Special Sauce.

Session #4 is on Friday, June 6th from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.  The theme for this sesion is - Seeing Into the Future. Where are we headed individually and together?

 

During break out sessions, adults can choose between a Book Club or a session led by Dr. Dan titled Finding your Power: Everyone has untapped superpowers. Learn how to focus your power and become a super family. We’ll focus on tactics for making an impact.

The Book Club will focus on the book, Designing your Life by Bill Burnett and Dale Evans. In this book, Burnett and Evans show us how design thinking can help us create a life that is both meaningful and fulfilling, regardless of who or where we are, what we do or have done for a living, or how young or old we are. The same design thinking responsible for amazing technology, products, and spaces can be used to design and build your career and your life, a life of fulfillment and joy, constantly creative and productive, one that always holds the possibility of surprise.  Participants will receive one copy of the book per household. 

Teens and children will participate in an age-appropriate activity.

 

FEARLESS FAMILY is a four-week family enrichment workshop combining creative and life strategy sessions for all ages designed to equip families with the relational tools necessary for a thriving future together. FEARLESS FAMILY uses the vocabulary of military training to help participants understand that unit cohesion and a shared purpose can happen within their own family unit, not just in battle. FEARLESS FAMILY helps participants understand the difference between parenting while under the influence of trauma and parenting outside of trauma. Our FEARLESS FAMILY programs also offer adult personal growth groups and mindfulness training.  Age appropriate life strategy sessions are available for children and teens weekly.
